With over 6 million subscribers, The History Channel already had a strong presence on YouTube—
but its mix of legacy TV content lacked a cohesive visual identity optimized for the platform.
Sibling Rivalry partnered with the team to refresh the channel experience for a younger, more diverse
audience by developing a modern design system and motion toolkit. The new system included
a custom logo animation, series branding, dynamic lower thirds, transitions, and map animations—
all crafted to give History’s YouTube content a consistent, platform-native look.
We brought this refreshed direction to life through a 54-second promo, introducing the new visual
language and setting the tone for History’s next era of storytelling online.
